We really should talk about the fact that Musk is insane, has completely lost his graps on reality, and needs medical intervention.
And there's some indication that that was Christian exaggeration/propaganda, since we only have their accounts as sources.
Brilliant and just logical and practical.

Which is why Germany will not even consider implementing it *deep sigh*.
This is such a good idea. Just think about all the Aldi/Lidl/Obi/etc. parking lots being forced to put those up. How much energy could they produce? Plus shade for parking. Or being able to put everything into the trunk without balancing an umbrella.
I'm in love. Damned allergies. Why can't they find a cure for allergies?

(Yes, I know about the special cat food. I don't think it's a valid long-term option.)

Books are viewed as a cultural asset or object of cultural value. Not just a product to sell.
What would you do in a one direction street that has sidewalks on both sides of the road? Or roads that only have one sidewalk?
Not in France, but Germany, but I guess we do the same thing. Sidewalks are used in both directions. You simply use the one you prefer, where the place you're going to is, or which one has shade/sun.

I never even considered that you could use the sidewalk only in driving direction. So odd.
Me? Let's see... a former friend, my previous MP and my previos Member of EU parliament - Angela Merkel - Trump.

(I'm pretty certain I know even more people who've met Angela Merkel or know someone who's met her or even worked with her.)
Having visited the Villa Krupp and the Festspielhaus in Bayreuth, I'm... three hops away from Hitler?

But also three hops away from Magnus Hirschfeld. Three hops away from Ronald Reagan. And Erich Mielke (East-German Stasi Director). Which means, I'm five or six hops away from Stalin. 🤣
I somehow can't seen him touring European castles or paying attention to the few palaces he's been invited to.

Saudi palaces and hotels on the other hand?
They look very tasty. Maybe with some nice Bibliskäse and gölas of pinot gris? Or with rapunzel salad? Season should start soon even though it's still much too warm for the beginning of November.
It looks more like 20th century dictator chick to me than European castle. With an extra dash of marble because that's supposedly in trend right now.
Same. I gave up about a third into book 1. It was well-written but the style just wasn't for me. And the constant character hopping.
Life is too short to read books you don't enjoy.

Yesterday, 50 years ago, Bohemian Rhapsody was released.

And it's a song that still touches people and has them singing along.

That Green Day concert crowd is legend.

I hear you. I'm moving in December and I'm areadly staring at my book shelves but also at my CD and DVD collection. It's not as big as it used to be but it's still substantial.
Right now all physical books and DVDs land on the wishlist.
We have some adopted "princes" in Germany (for money of course). Although we no longer have noble titles and the title is now part of the name.

But those adoped princes insist on being called prince and use it for marketing. Even if it's no longer an actual title.
For him it's probably a hard blow. The titles had meaning for him. His raison d'etre.

Instead of Royal Lodge he's now moving to a property owned by Charles? And big bro takes care of him. Granted, the Palace is probably scared that he runs of to the Middle East and ghostwrites a tell-all book.
Yes! I no longer remember the name of my Herold but a penfriend in the UK and I used to swap stories about our characters.
