The Southern Water works on Bassett Avenue have now been completed

Signage replacement works on Portland Terrace & Castle Way from today for 3 days, between 9:30am to 3:30pm (excluding weekend working).

During this period, there will be a lane closure north of Portland Terrace (nearby junction with Civic Centre Road) follow diversion @southamptoncc.bsky.social

Incident- diesel spill from a vehicle, over a large area in Anglesea Road, Winchester Road, St James Road.

Our teams are on site clearing the roads, closures will need to be placed over the next few hours.

Urgent SGN works on Bitterne Road East nearby its junction with Somerset Avenue from today for approx. 1 week.

There will be temporary traffic signals in operation whilst works are underway. Please plan your journey and allow additional time to reach your destination @southamptoncc.bsky.social

From Mon 6 Oct, waterproofing works will start on the Itchen Bridge, for approx 2 weeks.

Temporary daytime traffic lights will be in operation on the bridge to manage traffic flow. These signals will be active weekdays only, from 9:30am-3:00pm, during off-peak hours @southamptoncc.bsky.social

Cycle signage installation to aid cyclists when wheeling in the St Mary’s, Chapel and Ocean Village areas from today 1 Oct for 1 week, between the hours of 7am-5pm.
