🇩🇰, which essentially created jESC as a concept, quit the contest in early 2006 and together with 🇸🇪 and 🇳🇴 (and later 🇫🇮) revived MGP Nordic between 2006 and 2009. This won in 06. It’s better than the majority of Danish entries in adult ESC and this is not a hyperbole. 🇩🇰

Doron Medalie (the songwriter behind Toy, Golden Boy and Unicorn) is a despicable person who should be in jail, but sadly don’t think he ever will be. Ban him from all ESC related events for life! If what I’m reading about him is true, he should rot in hell.

This finished second in Melfest 1991. Such a fab power ballad and I always preferred it to Fångad av en stormvind, which I always considered corny and juvenile, especially comparing to Mitt i ett äventyr.
