Thank you for sharing - it is a wonderful essay. I grew up in small town NW Ohio. Was a paper girl too - Toledo Blade. Graduated from BGSU in 1982 with the help of Pell grants, National Direct Student Loans, and my foundry worker mom. Grateful for public schools and universities.

So happy for you! I have been deaf in my left ear since measles at 2, but didn’t get my first aid in the right. till my 40’s. Asked my son about my first unknown sound while walking and he said you’re wearing corduroy pants. 😬

Absolutely agree. I advise a student group that puts on day-long math camps for kids to help reduce math stigma. We provide fun activities like an 8'x 8' multiplication table battleship game, math sign yoga, and math Jenga with pieces made from 2x4s. It's great to see kids faces when+

⚠️TYLENOL & AUTISM—RFK Jr & Trump are wrong—the largest best study in the world in 2.5 MILLION KIDS—found no increased autism risk with acetaminophen (aka paracetamol/Tylenol). A crude analysis found only a tiny 5% risk, but once you adjust via sibling controls, the even tiny 5% risk vaporizes to 0%📉
