i def will have to dive in if much changed once i have the time, because working with linked images is pretty much the core of my compositing workflow so if they did something (i already know they moved resource manager to a different menu) i will be

i used adobe before, and the affinity app that felt the weirdest was always affinity photo, as it did have (v2 as well honestly) some really weird ux especially related to how it treated images vs raster layers etc
