I love the QLine in Detroit because unlike every bus on planet earth and unlike trains/subways (understandably for the latter but not the former), the QLine driver will stop and wait when they see someone running to catch it rather than the bus drivers who look you dead in the eye and drive away 😭🙃

We are celebrating my grandpa's 90th birthday today, and I made an Italian dinner music / rat pack playlist for the party. Of course I included both the original AND the dance party remix of Sarà Perché Ti Amo. The big finish? My Way by Frank Sinatra. I have to say I am pretty proud of myself 💁🏽‍♀️💚🤍❤️

Eleventh book of 2025 had me sobbing on the plane. One of the most heartbreaking and definitely the most beautifully written book I’ve ever read. Medicine, neuroscience, history, and art all wrapped into one extremely moving intergenerational story.
