Just discovered that @nsgov.bsky.social is forcing everyone back to work in office full time. Bargaining employees were able to keep their work from home days, but as of April 2026, everyone will be in office full time.
This is so short-sighted.

"The minister also said that while Canada Post is a vital institution, it hasn't been profitable for seven years."
Therein lies the problem. This should be a public service, not a business. There is no need for profits and big bonus' for execs.
Should the federal government lend Canada Post $1 billion to help maintain the national postal system?
Federal Procurement Minister Joël Lightbound is defending the government's latest $1 billion loan to Canada Post but says federal support can't be a "long-term solution" for the Crown corporation.

This is a great first step.
It's not enough. 62 affordable units when we have a houseless epidemic is barely a drop in the barrel.
Also important to note: $828/month is more than someone on social services or disability can afford.

While this study was in Wales, it's implications are world-wide. Esp in Canada, and NS, kids aren't being taught HOW to learn. They learn why it's important to learn, they learn strategies to solve equations, but no one helps them find out how each individual learns. And that's a problem 1/5

Until our transit is overhauled, we have no hope of clearing up traffic congestion.
On a typical day, I can drive to my office in about 15 mins...by bus it takes nearly an hour.
"people don't take transit" because its unreliable and takes forever. you have to invest if you expect returns

Landlords have no accountability. If there's mould in an apt, they can evict someone, slap a coat of paint, and re-rent for a higher rate.
Now I'm homeless and can't rent anywhere because its $2k for a 1 bedroom and I'm a family of 4.

It's disturbing to think an elected official would make false claims (though not unheard of unfortunately)
It's prudent the Premier disclose where he heard this info from. If it was hearsay, he can apologise for spreading false info
Who wants to bet there won't be an apology, just a double down?
