Yet when they suspended Aaron Ekblad for two games for his hit on Brandon Hagel, they said one of the key points for the suspension was the injury Hagel suffered. Double standard.

Another reason the NHL Player Safety will do nothing about the Bennett situation is the fact that Colin Campbell, currently executive vice president and director of hockey operations of the National Hockey League, and his son Gregory, is the AGM of the Florida Panthers.

If the NHL Player Safety has taught me anything, I should not expect any punishment for Sam Bennett for elbowing Anthony Stolarz in the head. Stolarz is wearing the Blue and White of the Maple Leafs, not the Lightning, so there will be no punishment.
