Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland is celebrating 30 years of its Advice Line.

The team have been at the end of the phone answering over 100,000 calls supporting the 1 in 5 people in Scotland affected by chest, heart, stroke conditions or Long Covid.

Last month we received over 61,000 emergency calls.

We treated more than half of these without taking patients to hospital through our clinical hub, management on scene, and alternative pathways.

🌬️🔶#StormAmy UPDATED 10.30am 03/10 - @metoffice.gov.uk has updated the amber weather warning for the #Grampian area. The warning now includes more of North Aberdeenshire and has been extended by 12 hours - until 9pm on Saturday.

We had a great time at the Community Day at the David Livingstone Birthplace in Blantyre with over 200 adults and children learning CPR and learning about the ambulance service.

Leigh Buchanan, Tom Thurlow, and Kat Leckie from SAS were joined by Foxx Doherty and Ross McMillan from Lanark CFRs.
