Arsenal’s leaders in progressive passes, box completions, and key passes versus Portsmouth

Portsmouth 1 (0.9)-(2.3) 4 Arsenal

Really it’s still 1-0 to Portsmouth because set play goals don’t count. Unacceptable

Overall a sloppy half, some real nice moments and some clankers. I guess it's good enough given the 2-1 lead.

That’s a nearly perfect up back and through move. Very nice from Merino there.

arsenal score their second goal from their first shot

✅ Heavily rotated and kind of exciting lineup
✅ Coffee
✅ No hangover from a nice evening out

Ready for the magic of the FA Cup. Come on Arsenal

Erling Haaland compared to Viktor Gyökeres on "service."

It's not drastically different overall between them

It’s interesting to see just how ineffective Liverpool were threatening Arsenal’s box here. They picked up a ton of possession in the second half against Arsenal but it was often very defensive type possession.

It was another less than stellar outing from Gyokeres and we still didn't see Kai on the bench (hopefully this weekend) and that puts even more pressure on what is to come in these next few months - Arsenal’s Striker Crossroads www.cannonstats.com/p/arsenals-s...

I’m watching the game back and this really doesn’t matter but time keeping stuff always bugs me. First half, 2 minutes announced. First 53 seconds go to Mac Allister “injury” after a hand ball.

Viktor Gyökeres - Goal and Shot Production for a 'successful' season

I committed to doing this every week so I don't want to stop but it kind of feels like it is a piling on here. I never want to see a player at Arsenal struggle and he from the outside looks to be in the middle of that right now.

Premier League Simulation - 2026-01-09

Man City perform better while they drop points this midweek so they drop off less than Arsenal. No points gained and another round less still puts things heavily towards Arsenal.

The most interesting fight is going to be what happens after 1-2 right now.

Arsenal vs Liverpool - Simulated Match Odds

It's a big one for Arsenal, this is on paper/spreadsheets one of Arsenal's tougher remaining matches. A win here is huge for the title and for getting a bit of revenge for the Anfield match.

Bournemouth want Nwaneri this January, including on loan

Arsenal open to that as they want minutes for him but don't want to sell

He wants to dig in and learn - although may assess at end of season

Huge chance to pull way out in front now.
