My life has come full circle - I’m back in Italy … teaching in #Florence with regular trips to #Rome. I used to do a bit of #sport and #travel writing and occasionally dust off the keyboard and create something. Love #SSLazio, #Calcio & #Watfordfc.

I must be mad but the adventure continues as I try to complete #the38 for #SSLazio.

I’m on the #FlixBus to #Genoa - those who know me know I’m a Princess so hoping this adventure works out … it’s much cheaper and so far so good!

Padova is a lovely city - I was there in the summer so lots closed but I’d like to go back and see more. A very cool place! The Scrovegni Chapel was incredible - we loved it

Once again the trip itself was fun and enjoyable but the football didn’t go as I wanted!

Please checkout my latest instalment of #DomenicaBastardi for @tibsnews25.bsky.social as part of #the38!

It’s clearly going to be a challenging season!

Agreed … I am pleased to say it’s better than 20 years ago but sometimes there are still elements. I’m pleased it does now seem a minority rather than majority - Lazio has a left wing group based out of the Distinti Sud (Lazio e Liberta) who are doing some good work.

If I’m correct - Adolf is now banned as a name in Germany.

Admittedly you don’t see many Benito’s these days …

Certainly not this one!

But I know what you mean about the cunt move!

And maybe as well a power move to use for his advantage! Maybe I’m being cynical but not so sure!

And let not forget he chose to use the Mussolini name - he didn’t have to as Mussolini was on his maternal side.

Apparently though he is supposed to be decent but with his name and family I hope he doesn’t return to Lazio next summer - we already get enough bad press!

Yesterday Irish football lost a true character, who seemed universally liked. Taken far too soon.

It could be a train crash but Sarri’s appointment lifted the fans for sure - we sold the fourth most season tickets in the league (I read) with the final figure just under 30k which is great considering our summer. The key was not losing anyone we didn’t want to. Tomorrow will be hard for sure

I agree Gasperini needs time but Roma aren’t traditionally a team who gives time but we shall see!

No Europe helps us and when I look at our starting XI I’m happy bar no natural 9 (this will hurt again) - the first three subs are decent but then we have issues. We have two good keepers which helps

I expect Napoli to retain the title - Roma are an interesting one. Curious to see how Gasperini does - he needs time! As for us the transfer ban hurt & goals will be hard to come by but feeling positive (maybe I’m mad). I’m buzzing to go tomorrow and see how we look as I start to try the 38/38!

Perfect place to finally start it! I have a feeling it will be finished by the time we leave!

Finally getting to read @rickhough.bsky.social’s #VeronaCampione - with the new season starting tonight and chilling in #Como there was no better time to start this book. Lads … it’s a great read!

Fantastic! My student has returned to Florence. He drove back from Puglia - car full of orecchiette and other Pugliese goodies!
