YEAH... i never got into dA myself (my most casual/silly posting coincided with I think '15-'18 fandom tumblr?) but based on what I've heard it had a lot more of a big community feel until it changed to try and look pro + lost all its personal charm and nothing ever really replaced that?

im grasping the differences between character *references* and character *art* finally and i need to make a portfolio that features more character *art* ... however i did spend most of my last week of free days drawing pretty little outfits on my guys 😔 at least i will be ready for artfight 2026
