Troll regeneration does seem to have some limitations (them not healing eye injuries well, for example), so I wonder what would be required for some of this to work.

I could see it being used for cosmetic body modding, provided their bodies don't expel anything that isn't their own tissue.

A fair point. I started playing in Vanilla, dropped out shortly after Cata launched, and didn't come back until near the end of BFA. The tonal shift and growth of the universe is something I'm still getting used to.

That said, I do think the more cartoony side is worth embracing (ala Hearthstone)

I have mixed feelings about this tbh.

I remember back during TBC, Metzen and the WoW team said they didn't want to keep bringing back old characters like Medivh or Gul'dan, as it felt cheap.

WoD felt like them doing a complete 180 on this and milking the past for all it was worth.

As a goblin hunter main, I love le boomstick, but I also recognize that my class fantasy isn't everyone's.

Glyph options are a must for stuff like this.

Blizz should know by now that character/class customization is the true endgame for most players.

This person they’re always describing? The Idea Guy. The person who has NO ability to make a film, book or game, but somehow has all the requisite knowledge and experience with the medium to generate an exceptional idea? That person does not exist.

“The fact of that you will be able to have an entire piece of software created just by explaining your idea is going to be incredible for humans getting great new stuff,” Altman said on the comedian Theo Von’s podcast this summer. “Because right now, I think there’s a lot more good ideas than people who know how to make them. And if AI can do that for us, we’re really good at coming up with creative ideas.”
