Eizen completes the Kalos gym challenge and reflects. He recalls his meeting with the psychic gym leader Olympia, who had sensed a dark aura emanating from him and could tell he was a being from another world. After their battle with Greninja vs. Meowstic, she asked if he could stay for a moment.
