Still time to listen in as @philippabarr.bsky.social & @dittemunch.bsky.social discuss disgust - its historical, moral, social manifestations and our reactions to it!

DISGUST ~ un- & dis-comforting, ingratiating its way into our senses ~ repugnant, offensive. Here, I have the absol pleasure of learning from world experts, Philippa Nicole Barr & Ditte Marie Munch-Jurisic, on public health & warfare. LISTEN IN!

When you see 'What social activities can I join?' on the back of uni loo door & instead read 'What social justice activities can I join?' you know you are desperate to get back to this article on protest rather than do all your other uni jobs!

It absolutely kills me & my devoted colleagues to be teaching beautiful cohorts of bright, engaged, inquisitive young people, knowing that they are being unfairly burdened with a massive debt because of ideological views. Sign here to petition the Albanese gov't to act on this now ↓

Listening to our uni's VC Townhall & the passion & hurt of our professional colleagues who are now subject to change mgt is heart-breaking & enraging. 'Tell us what value you are to the institution'??? Shifting onus for problem-solving onto shoulders of those being disestablished/demoted is awful.

I am so proud of this. To my amazing colleagues who nominated me, thank you. Life imitating research & vice versa. *Maybe fittingly (but also weirdly), on the day of the ceremony for UOW inaugural IWD awards, I was in Bondi speaking to Stan TV, media & TV-media-$ ppl on Oz pub & bikini bans!

Msgr Murray RIP 25/2/2025 ~
Married my folks, tireless against state oppression in the Troubles, Irish lang champ, "asked" (formidably) me to review Oz exhib for his Armagh jnl, hilariously "threatened" my wee one with an axe when said boy pointed a wooden Emain Mhacha sword 1/2

A day of being a support person for very beautiful colleagues at meetings where 'excess' or 'downsized' decisions are confirmed. WBY's '...for peace comes dropping slow...' is a soothing reminder to breath. Sending glimmers, glows, & lake water lapping to anyone needing it.

When you think you'll go that bit extra to present yourself (ie wear earrings) for Change Management meetings in the hope they'll be so impressed they'll rethink redundancies & you fail miserably. Workers' comp?! 🤔😒
