One date to Stinky’s is all it takes
If you want to do something like this, why not buy a $150k home in a small town in Italy, France, Spain, or Mexico, instead of having nine people share one bathroom after they eat at a restaurant called "Stinky's?"

sometimes i like to drive myself crazy by remembering that

trump v1 cut the CDC staff in Wuhan China in 2019, the pandemic is why we had a recession in the first place, it was treated with stimulus payments, which led to inflation, which Biden got blamed for, which led to trump v2, and here we are

At my mom’s wake, a friend (a very good, close, longtime friend who knows me very well) leaned in while hugging me in the procession and said, so only I could hear “I’m so sorry for your loss… also, I never knew your mom was so hot back in the day.”

It brought me to my *knees* laughing.
Will Arnett was on Conan and told a story about how Conan dealt with the death of his parents by accusing Jason Bateman of killing them. It’s so funny.

My hot idiot take: At some point we’ll look back at this time period and acknowledge that the recession started some time during the pandemic. We’ve BEEN in a recession.

I do not want autonomous cars.

I can’t believe I’m saying that, as I was all in on the idea a decade ago. But I don’t want them. I don’t trust tech companies to do it safely.

I think the real question it raises is how useful CEOs truly are
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?
Execs are embracing AI more than their employees are, new research suggests
Research from HR software company Dayforce suggests that executives are leaning into AI far more than their employees.

I'm an Eagle Scout (once an Eagle Scout, always an Eagle Scout).

Scouting made me who I am, gave me a variety of skills, and even helped me get an employment for a few summers working at Sea Base.

Scouting, at its core, isn't about being a good man. It's about being a good person.
