I am not sure I agree that the US House Republicans are going to retire because they know they will be in the minority in 2027. They passed the biggest tax cut in history for themselves and their oligarch cronies. They dont have any reason to stay in congress now.

I am not sure I agree that the US House Republicans are going to retire because they know they will be in the minority in 2027. They passed the biggest tax cut in history for themselves and their oligarch cronies. They dont have any reason to stay in congress now.

What if the bill to release the Epstein files is veto proof when it arrives on Trump's desk? Can he still veto it? Can congress override his veto or does it die on his desk? I am not sure how it works.

I think this is only going to push us further into a major political revolt in the USA. Neither party gives a cr*personal about us. They only care about power, money, and being reelected. The holy triad...
Voters want a Democratic Party that fights back against the forces that have rigged the system and made their lives more difficult.
A party that comforts the afflicted and afflicts the comfortable —not a party that buckles and capitulates.

Time for Dems to call for vacating the House Speakership. While the Republicans are being paid their salary while refusing to do their job to avoid releasing the Epstein Files, everyday Americans are suffering. Fire Speaker Johnson!

I have a hard time having sympathy for farmers. They consistently vote republican. Then the Republicans give them a bailout. The ones that can't last, sell to the corporate farm industry. Can't help thinking it is a political scam to incorporate all the farm land.

Ffff, $20b bailout for Argentina to extend fascist governments and bailouts for the USA farmers because of tariffs.. but we can't have health care or bail out student loan debt... and heaven forbid we get the Epstein files...

Why didn't the Senators ask Bondi about the Cross necklace that she was wearing and if she considered herself a Christian because her behavior and responses are in conflict with her beliefs.

I turn the TV on and immediately learn that Senators Cortez-Masto and King have already capitulated on the GOP budget. I feel like I just started watching a football game in the 1st quarter, and my team has already lost. The Dems have no f'n guts. We need new leadership with fire in their bellies!

I think that every ICE agent, from top to bottom, should be arrested when the next Dem President takes office. Every single last one of them... arrested, tried, and sent to prison for the rest of their life, not eligible for parole. There, I said it.
