Ich habe über #DonkeyKongBananza geschrieben, das erste Must-Have-Spiel für die #Switch2.

Es lässt einen die Regeln der Videospiele brechen und wird gerade dadurch zu einer neuartigen Erfahrung, auch wenn die Grundidee mehr als 20 Jahre alt ist.

Übrigens, ihr Fossile: Bioshock ist näher an Gothic als an 2025. Selbst Bioshock Infinite und GTA V(!) sind heute so alt wie Gothic war, als sie erschienen!

Dark Souls, Mass Effect, Skyrim: Alle näher an Gothic als am heutigen Tag.

Zurück zum Vergleich mit Herr der Ringe: Unglaublich, wo Videospiele damals waren und wo sie heute sind.

Überlegt nur, welche Mikroevolutionen das Medium in all der Zeit gemacht hat, um von etwas wie Gothic zu einem Assassin's Creed: Shadows zu gelangen.

Die Switch-Version lässt sich allerdings ganz manierlich spielen und hat mit Quickload/Quicksave eines der wichtigsten Features für so alte Schinken, um über die Limitierung der Bedienung hinwegsehen zu können.

Es ist _wirklich_ knuffig. Luigi macht die ganze Zeit lustige Geräusche, summt die Hintergrundmusik mit, ruft mit bibbernder Stimme "H-H-Hello?" und erschreckt sich permanent 🤣

Und die Umgebungen sind klasse: Im ganzen Spiel existiert nicht ein rechter Winkel, alles ist schräg, schief und falsch.
