It's an avenue for continued engagement, like most things on the internet. But a more meaningful purpose would be for organization and updates beyond uploads/streams. There may be other good reasons but those are the best ones I can think of

I feel sometimes I re-post Tama too often, but she's very very good at wording reassurance and advice that speaks to me on a deep level, and regularly. I'd hope it would do the same for others. Thank you for helping me all of these years.

Uncertainty is hard to cope with. But if the future is not decided, then it doesn't have to be all bad forever. Even if there isn't evidence that you can see right now, you can choose to have hope.

It takes effort sure but the way the modern yugioh community refuses to try pull a 2012 goat style to create the formats they want to see support of (heart of the underdog) on a more wider scale is so weird.

Especially when edision and domain have shown it isn't a fluke to grow a community.

The present has never been good in any part of history, and yet we've always managed to find good to pull us through. In fact, I think fixation on bad is what breeds more of it. We don't have to ignore bad, as long as we're doing just as you described.

When bad stuff is happening we can't do anything about, it's justified to feel angry. So feel all that anger. And then when you take action, act opposite. Respond with radical kindness towards yourself and others. Defy them by living your best possible life in spite of their chaos.

It's actually like ridiculous and insane that Masuda thought the reason players didn't engage with the Battle Frontier in Gen 3 was that people don't like post-game content and not that we had virtually no way to engage with it using the tools provided in the game itself even if we wanted to.
