The phrase "between a woman and her doctor" is embedded with a lot of generous assumptions about doctors.

After receiving a prenatal diagnosis for heart issues, Shyla was repeatedly pressured by her medical team to abort. She continued her pregnancy, and today her son is thriving.

Stories of Prenatal Diagnosis: Shyla L.
Shyla L. says that she was treated horribly for refusing to abort her son with heart defects; after three surgeries, he "brings so much joy."

March for Life "runs the same route it has for more than 50 years, from the National Mall up to the steps of the Supreme Court. Yet now the White House, not the courthouse, is obstructing the pro-life movement’s goals."

Reroute the March for Life
Trump’s tepid support of the Hyde Amendment, not the high court, is now obstructing the pro-life movement’s goals.

We aren't against abortion because we want to control adults. We're against abortion because we want to protect children.

SPL asked pro-lifers: What reforms would Planned Parenthood need to make before receiving taxpayer funding?

Read their answers: https://ow.ly/E66I50Y0AE1
We Asked, You Answered: Are there reforms Planned Parenthood could make such that you'd be comfortable with them receiving taxpayer funding?
One of PP's controversies has been the reception of tax-payer funding. Pro-lifer's discuss what reforms could make them comfortable with that.

Respect to the "alt" pro-lifers. Being pro-life is a culturally unpopular position generally, even more so if you're in social circles that aren't particularly conservative or Christian. For those who refuse to shut up anyway, we salute you.

Deeply troubling & dehumanizing when able-bodied people imagine what it's like to be disabled, don't bother to consult any actually disabled people, & decide it's a fate worse than death. Yet continually that's the process I see when people defend abortion for "fetal anomaly."

Abortions for social or economic reasons, when there is no medical emergency involved, aren't healthcare. And that's nearly all abortions.

"Platkin’s team conceded that although the state issued a sweeping subpoena against a pregnancy center ... the office had no complaints against the organization."

Zero complaints. No wrongdoing. Just subpoenas, intimidation, and a state government determined to shut down pregnancy centers.

For those of you who used to be pro-choice, what advice do you have on how to talk to pro-choice people about abortion?
January 15, 2026 at 6:30 PM
Bit crazy to me when some people suggest we're pro-life because we haven't had to deal with difficult pregnancies. What separate utopia do you imagine pro-lifers live in?

Pro-choicers often describe pro-life philosophical premises as “religious” while treating their own as neutral. This double standard obscures the real disagreement.

Monica Snyder joins the ERI podcast to discuss the secular basis for human rights and prenatal value. https://ow.ly/rJOf50XVtc2
Podcast recap: “Do you need religion to be pro-life?” with Equal Rights Institute
In this episode we talk about how to respond to both Christians and secularists who say you can't be pro-life without God.

Abortion is a method of ending a pregnancy. The method entails causing the death of a young and vulnerable human being.

So many abortion supporters try to avoid that second part, but there it is.
