In A King's Trust, my poly romantasy, the spare becomes heir, discovering ancient magic, political intrigue, and two loves of his life.

"A compelling tale with well-drawn characters and beautifully executed LGBTQ+ romance."

Writers, feel my pain! Why aren't there more good synonyms for "laughed"? Like "giggled," "chuckled," "chortled," "guffawed"--these all have extremely specific use cases that usually aren't right.

While ferociously swordfighting a neighbor child, my 8yo called him a "rapscallion," a "miscreant," and a "dishonorable rogue."

I'm amused and delighted.

Prince Beauregard would never have a fully charged phone. Elias definitely has Life360 set up to track his disaster bi.

Over a thousand copies of my debut novel A King's Trust were bought or downloaded in its first month out, and I want to CELEBRATE!

This book is a love story to AuDHDers w/ no idea what's going on half the time who still deserve the world bc I KNOW we can make great leaders. (1/3)

Writer mama may be enabling little storytellers-in-training. Nothing brings joy like hearing a dozen neighborhood kids live-negotiating a story in my living room lol

See, the problem with creating three gorgeous fictional people is that I can just sit here bi panicking about them all freakin day instead of writing their sequel

I post ONE video with the P&P 2005 hand flex & suddenly my FYP on every platform is nothing but thirst trap edits of Matthew Macfadyen's Darcy. Am I irritated about it??

...nah, that tall glass of autistic-coded silence can block the breaking news with his lil cravat and 10,000 a year any day.
a man in a black coat is standing in front of a window with the words " more silence " below him
Alt: Mr. Darcy, played by Matthew Macfadyen, in a black coat and cravat, stands awkwardly in front of a window and avoids eye contact, twisting his gloves in his hands, with the words 'more silence' beneath him.

If you're not using your maladaptive daydreaming to romanticize your chores, what are you even doing?

Join me in this delusion: it's published in A King's Trust by S.E. McPherson, a poly romantasy with a KILLER found family.

If you yearn for YEARNING, read the book Independent Book Review called, "Tantalizing & dripping with tension—a slow-burn romantasy that explodes when things get hot," & readers called, "If you don't let them f*^xing KISS I'm gonna lose my—oh, there it is, OH GOD!"

In this corner: Lady Penamour, duchess by cunning and force of will. She's a ferocious politician, a fierce defender of justice, and the staunch enemy of our dear Prince Beauregard.

Love banter? See her verbally duke it out with Beau in A King's Trust: buff.ly/jf8NeI7

My feed is (understandably and on purpose) all political news and activism, so I was both surprised and very grateful for bunnies to grace it. Needed a lil bun snuggle in my afternoon.

So anyway I'm really hoping to dig into my TBR soon. I'm already sure The Final Strife is going to be a five-star read if I can ever find the peace and quiet (quaaludes?) to read!

For A King's Trust, I shared a writing playlist as part of my PR boxes. I'm not sure how to tell people the writing soundtrack for the sequel is "feral 7-11yo friends of my son's screaming over each other as they play Gang Beasts & god forbid I add music to this overstimulation"

Tried to film a dramatic video. Husband walked in, saw sad face & immediately began Cheer-Up Protocol™. He threw a nerf dart, offered a drink, offered to turn the internet off, brought a different drink, then simply picked me up and rattled me about. Can't even pretend to be sad in this house lmao

I promise there's not someone holding me at 🔪-point off screen, but it certainly feels that way sometimes.

Help me out: Read A King's Trust by S.E. McPherson, my poly MMF slow-burn romantasy, and for the love of all things holy, please tell other people about it so I don't have to.

I LOVE fantasy, but the world's got me so damn scattered that every time I try to start a new series, I zone out three pages in and ultimately open an AO3 tab for some trusty fan fic. Anybody else??
