Nothing but the one thing."

Trying to decide, if I was Andorra's flagbearer Cande Moreno, would I be happy they didn't show my crash and subsequent airlift off the mountain as well on the main feed.

Feel bad for Eicher there, she knows where she made the mistake and to be trailing by just .04 is going to haunt her.

If we are going to use the drone, we have to figure out how to mute it NBC. Also, the announcers said Radler was off the pace when she was a second and a half faster. Rough morning for all.

We're really showing Lindsay Vonn before showing the women's downhill? When we know what happens?

Just an incredible photo choice here from what I can only assume is a bot. For reference, Jay Bouwmeester has been retired for six years and shockingly isn't Robert Thomas. I'd bet it has been longer since the Blues wore those jerseys too, but I could be wrong there.

Cyle Larin is on Southampton?!? I was a big fan of him when he was on Orlando City

10 years ago? No, that can't be right.

Soccer fans everywhere cringing at the "clear and obvious" quote the slopestyle announcer just gave us.

I feel like this isn't a "call coming from inside the house" situation, because he didn't fall out a windows afterwards.

There is no way 1956 is 70 years ago. 50 at most. Stop the ride, I want to get off. Get my bearings a bit, I'll be right back on.

Saw Head skis being held in an ad, and was going to ask "When did Al Snow start making skid?", but that leads to questions like how do I know who Al Snow is? And I don't have an answer.

And that was it, thank you for joining "Mike spams the parade of nations", a tradition since like 2012ish on Twitter. Possibly 2010.

And if you blocked me for it, you are no fun. You had every right to, but my stance remains lol

Utah 2034 is not right around the corner. Especially when last month felt like a year already Terry.

The US following Venezuela is just a cruel joke.

Peacock reloaded. If you thought I was late before, well lol

Also, I got to see the Viking ad twice. Yay.

How could you skip Mongolia?!? They nail the outfits every time!

Never forget the rioter at the Capitol who was carrying the nation of Georgia's flag. I am sure not because they were from that nation.

Female Albanian flag bearer almost brained a guy there. I am rooting for her now.

I love the parade of athletes. My parents joked I would brook no argument in watching it when I was 4 lol

Hoping this dance opens a portal to hell that takes JD Vance and only JD Vance. That would be fun.

Brutal goal to give up for the Czechs, as they should have been on the power play after an uninjured Swiss player turtled over a live puck, then threw a punch when she got up.
February 6, 2026 at 4:01 PM
Not sure what to make of Czechia's or Switzerland's women's hockey teams. They both have their moments, but both seem to want to overpass. Part of that could be Czechia feeling a bit down after losing 5-1 yesterday, and this being the first game for the Swiss.

Held it back yesterday because no one comes to this account for fashion advice and maybe their blue uniforms would look better, but France's hockey jerseys are terrible in both the white and the blue. We get it, you like stripes, you don't need 500 on the jersey.
February 6, 2026 at 11:42 AM
If team France was your dark horse medal contender in women's ice hockey, you can put that to bed. Italy having a nice start to their Olympics.

Also, the announcer referred to Penn State as "the Litany Nions" earlier, and I may just do that for the rest of my life.

Sweden is obviously the better team, but Germany has the best player on the ice. Nina Jobst-Smith is a standout. Very good defensively, great instincts on offense, made a couple Swedish players look foolish on fake shots.
