Friends, I'm still vetting adds. Thanks for your patience. Also, my pinned post is gone for some reason unknown to me. But please don't add me thinking I want your crypto opportunity or DM. I don't. Blocking me because you tried anyway w/out a response is a you problem. I'm not here for that.
On day 28 of #WomenReads we are heading over to sci-fi/fantasy. I read this for a book report in elementary school, but it still holds up as an adult. For many of us it was an intro to t/genre. Do yourself a solid-read t/whole series. 📚💙#BookSky

"I think Kristi Noem probably should go back to South Dakota, not have any dogs, and just kind of ride things out". Gov Tim Walz. I love that almost as much as telling Bondi she should focus on the Epstein files.

For Day 27 of #WomenReads, I offer up the book that brought Dame Agatha Christie into the spotlight and finally got her published. Long considered one of the world's best writers, the public got to see it here first. This is where we 1st met the now infamous Poirot. #BookSky 💙📚

Hanlon’s razor could explain a lot of why it’s been so easy for t/NRA to manipulate the Fudds. These dipshits don’t actually understand gun laws. I personally know people who thought a law was broken, simply because MN is blue. Our gun laws aren’t as strict as you’ve been led to believe.

I count moving to Minnesota as a young adult all those hundreds of years ago as one of the best things - if not the best thing - I have done for myself. youtu.be/uupx9gl2GqE?...

For day 25 of #WomenReads I'm submitting a two-fer. You may have heard of this author -she's a classic. But what you might not know is she has also written cozy little gothic thrillers. AWITD is a book of short stories and ALFLC is a novel. You absolutely need to read these. 🧵📚 #BookSky

Warning: Not for the sensitive. It's somewhat graphic. www.facebook.com/reel/1207062... Posting this here because of course the Feds are already trying to spin it. This is the reality of who these fucking thugs are. #Minneapolis #Minnesota #AbolishICE

Day 24 of #WomenReads is inspired by the creation of the Oxford Dictionary. It celebrates the power of language & the history of women. Two thumbs up. 💙📚 #BookSky

Day # 23 of #WomenReads is an intense read and not for the faint of heart. People seem split on the ending, but no one can doubt the power of the writing. It's almost black history month, & I'd recommend it for that, too. 📚💙#BookSky

Day 22 of #WomenReads is an all-time fave. This was a beautifully written book. She has others I enjoyed, but none matched this one for me. If you missed it somehow, I highly recommend it. If my to-read pile wasn't so huge, I would read it again.💙📚#BookSky

On Day 21 of #WomenReads I offer up a bit of nonfiction. This is a true story of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. I think it’s especially relevant now w/so many people taking their own comforts for granted. 💙📚#BookSky

For day 20 of #WomenReads we have more historical fiction and not too far from the same time period. This one is a little lighter, but very enjoyable. 💙📚#BookSky

Redoing day 19 of #WomenReads because at 2 in the morning I forgot tags. This is historical fiction and a very good representative for the genre. Based on true events and real women like Osla Benning & the work they did in WWII at Bletchley Park. 💙📚 #BookSky

Day 18 of #WomenReads is very early science fiction. We've all heard the story and/or seen at least one version of the story, but have you actually read it, yet? 💙📚#BookSky

Out and about in the twin cities today dropping off whistles and getting coffee. They aren’t merely being bullies or punishing us for being blue or Walz and Omar. Miller is testing the waters, America. Time to wake up. It’s not a left or right thing. It’s a 1A thing, a 4A thing, & a 10A thing.

Day 17 of #WomenReads is Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen. IIRC, this was a debut novel, and if that's the case it's even more impressive. I'm kind of a sucker for magical realism, and this book epitomizes it. 💙📚#BookSky

Day 16 is one of my all-time favorites. We can’t have a #WomenReads challenge without Their Eyes Were Watching God. 💙📚
