Dunno if its everywhere, but in QLD local and state govs have worked out that if you can't legislate to make it illegal, you can regulate to make it impossible.

I can see how that particular kind of monogamy might work.

He exclusively does not have sex with her.

Fortunately, he'll need more than just Steve's vote because there won't many others.

met skase's boat guy years ago (someone I knew previously from Sydney)
Told me his story of the speed boat on the spit sinking in the middle of the night because the gold bars weighed it down too much.
I gather it was in the shallows because they just got a bigger boat and got away with them.

Time to call it was it is.
My ADHD insistence I put things away to they don't get lost is really "pre-losing" the thing.
In 6 months time I won't have a clue where I put it away so it didn't get lost.
I mean, they do turn up eventually. Sometimes years later.

It wasn't a generalisation.
That is an age when that condition is likely.

81 years.
This might explain the senility of Liberal party policies...

First week we're in our new house we heard loud wooshing and came outside to see this from the back yard.

It came down in the dog park at the bottom of the street.

That was 18 years ago, hasn't happened since.

With @australianlabor.bsky.social
insisting @liberalaus.bsky.social sign off on negotiated legislation, I'm struggling to see any difference between them.

Labor water down and weaken everything to suite their fascist partners.

@australianlabor.bsky.social are hiding the cost blowout of a LNP project failure.

Why are they damaging their own reputation to protect the opposition's failures?!?

Is this what the secret deal with Murdoch's idiot son requires for protection in their media?

The Govt has spent $600K on lawyers to keep early warnings signals of further Snowy 2.0 cost blowouts from the public. With the matter now in the Full Federal Court, the price of this secrecy to the taxpayer will likely avalanche to >$1M 🤦‍♂️. #FOI #auspol
Snowy 2.0 legal cost avalanche - more public money spent hushing more public information - Michael West
The Government confessed to the Senate it spent $600K on lawyers to stop Snowy 2.0 cost and schedule blowouts from being made public.

Snowy 2.0 is yet another massive failure of the LNP government inherited by Labor.

Why are @australianlabor.bsky.social not publishing the "better money managers" abject failures at every opportunity?
serendipidude.bsky.social
That maybe the case, but an Aussie accent gets you laid.
Lots.

Reading about Sungrow batteries the other day and found a bit that said it switched into backup mode in 10msec when grid goes out and you might not notice it happen.

Just sent 45mins trying to find it again and can't.

No excuse for language to be so mangled just because it's a Chinese company.
Screen grab of Sungrow website search result.

It assumes the thing you searched for is a thing you wish to invest in.
English is kind of mangled a bit, it makes no sense. Heading is "backup of Search" where "backup" is the search term.

It's the topic everyone in Canberra is talking about and now thanks to ChaserBet, you can win big on this bizarre story!

Yesterday, in reply to a question about #FOI, @albomp.bsky.social went out of his way to take a swipe at me. His words were unbecoming of a PM, but I’m glad my #transparency efforts are getting under his skin. It shows our anti-secrecy campaign is having an impact. #auspol

Are they quoting Robin from '60s Batman?

He used to say dumb techno shit while they fired up the bat mobile.

I use the mute account option rather than the block option, as a rule.

If what I post annoyed someone, I don't want that to stop.

Major reds flags to get muted are:
- emojies in the handle
- only a single image meme ralting to the orange horror in any way
- support for any brand of political cunt

Typical, huh.

No good fortune for ages, then 3 come at once!

Will it be tariffs or sanctions against the Nobel committee I wonder.

Hope none of the members are planning to visit US anytime soon. Will be very awks at immigration when the shoot on sight flag comes up.

However that bug worked it would have allowed a malicious actor to setup 2FA which was later used to login and then verify 2FA set by malicious actor.
Fuck, cybersecurity is so hard for retail finance. Rarely find it implemented securely by the twats I use. Like, the biggest players in the country.

Another glorious cyber fuckup by Coles app.
Used 2FA to login to the app. I recall this wouldn’t work the day the account was migrated. Coles published advice many customers were affected when they fixed the bug.
1st time login then verified the 2FA info.
Bit late if it wasn’t me!

Never did get through to the twats at Coles.

Today a paper statement arrived in the post, just a few days before it’s due for payment.
Went to check why it wasn’t email like last 20 years.
