My ADHD insistence I put things away to they don't get lost is really "pre-losing" the thing.
In 6 months time I won't have a clue where I put it away so it didn't get lost.
I mean, they do turn up eventually. Sometimes years later.

First week we're in our new house we heard loud wooshing and came outside to see this from the back yard.

It came down in the dog park at the bottom of the street.

That was 18 years ago, hasn't happened since.

Reading about Sungrow batteries the other day and found a bit that said it switched into backup mode in 10msec when grid goes out and you might not notice it happen.

Just sent 45mins trying to find it again and can't.

No excuse for language to be so mangled just because it's a Chinese company.

English is kind of mangled a bit, it makes no sense. Heading is "backup of Search" where "backup" is the search term.

I use the mute account option rather than the block option, as a rule.

If what I post annoyed someone, I don't want that to stop.

Major reds flags to get muted are:
- emojies in the handle
- only a single image meme ralting to the orange horror in any way
- support for any brand of political cunt

However that bug worked it would have allowed a malicious actor to setup 2FA which was later used to login and then verify 2FA set by malicious actor.
Fuck, cybersecurity is so hard for retail finance. Rarely find it implemented securely by the twats I use. Like, the biggest players in the country.

Another glorious cyber fuckup by Coles app.
Used 2FA to login to the app. I recall this wouldn’t work the day the account was migrated. Coles published advice many customers were affected when they fixed the bug.
1st time login then verified the 2FA info.
Bit late if it wasn’t me!

Never did get through to the twats at Coles.

Today a paper statement arrived in the post, just a few days before it’s due for payment.
Went to check why it wasn’t email like last 20 years.
It is set to email.
