After tense talks, centrists back a text raising scope to 5,000+ staff & €1.5bn turnover, keeping risk-based due diligence & climate plans, but no new civil liability powers.!

🤔Just sayin': EU negotiations on slimmer Corporate Due Diligence rules #CSDDD are still ongoing between Parliament & Council,

the democratic process isn’t finished.

Yet today’s published US–EU ‘trade deal’ already commits the EU on liability, climate duties & scope.
