Fantastic event in Peterborough this 18 Oct, the 3rd stage of the #EUSS Tour organised by Comites di Londra to support people with their Settled Status. We are all concerned that children might slip through the gaps. This is a very welcomed report from the IMA on the importance of registering children to ensure their legal status in the UK, particularly as local authorities don't have the expertise to deal with immigration support for children. 👍👏
EU parents and carers: If you are an EU or EEA EFTA parent living in the UK, there is a possibility that your child does not have certain rights.
Rights are not automatically given to every child that is born or adopted in the UK.

Welcome contribution to the ongoing concerns raised by Settled & others regarding the difficulties that people holding a valid CoA have been experiencing & the impact is having on people who are struggling. It would be positive to see some clarification and change in policy as a product of this!
We have published a statement today outlining our position that a citizen with a valid Certificate of Application has the right to leave and and re-enter the UK, subject to meeting relevant requirements.
