According to epic it's only for things that make a map deceiving, they still allowing for imported stuff.

I know I haven't been posting much, but I have been cooking up a few things recently.

However I wanted to quickly talk about a new #UEFN TOS update.

Epic's update to their 1.7 rule is downright self-destructive of their community. (1/6)

Communities response?

They loved it! and within month TF2classic, The Mobster, and TF2 Offshore and widespread in the community as the most hyped, or popular mod.

Fully endorsed by Valve.

Maybe it's time Epic tried listening to us, it helped Valve, so why wouldn't it help Epic?
Lastly, a prime example of enabling your community to grow your game

Recently Team Fortress 2 got full modding capabilities, released by Valve themselves. Fulling allowing creators to make their own maps, mods, and games all while using any and all TF2/Source assets. (5/6)
We have ported props, POIs, and VFX to avoid this wait, and still use them within fortnite, and only fortnite.

Wouldn't it make since to let your own community use aspects of your game, to make more experiences in your game, that intern get more people to play your game?

Along side this, Epic takes way to long to add wanted items, props, or galleries.

for example: it has been over 5 years since the grotto was in fortnite, a highly requested POI to be added to creative, yet they have not added it into creative AT ALL, despite us asking so often.

This change single handedly halts or cancels hundreds of projects.

Not to mention it is THEIR ip in THEIR game, meaning it is still being used in THEIR game for others to enjoy.
THEY get the plays, THEY get the money, WE get a easier time making projects. (2/6)

Honestly, it's more fun than I expected. My biggest issue comes with the shotguns, the jawa scatter blaster is the only decent shotgun, the others feel weak. As someone who doesn't like star wars, this season is decently fun, but I am ready for the next season.
