I don't use words like "dazzling" lightly. But as I was in the audience for @sfplayhouse.org's latest, I genuinely thought, "I am dazzled." On "Noises Off": www.sfchronicle.com/entertainmen...
Dazzling ‘Noises Off’ at S.F. Playhouse shows that farce is our reality right now
Somehow, director Bill English sets the top of Michael Frayn’s comedy spinning and only accelerates it.

Maybe “friendship” doesnt feel accurate to any close friendship.

At any rate, I’ll be mulling this love triangle for days! /fin

“I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face” is grudging, the kind of love that dare not admit itself.

But San Francisco Playhouse’s production felt like it was about another kind — maybe the love in friendship, but that didn’t seem like quite the right label.

There are so many kinds of love songs in “My Fair Lady.” “I Could Have Danced All Night” expresses the rush of physical touch. “On the Street Where You Live” is a boy’s crush, more in love with love or an ideal than with an actual person. 1/

Bill English’s production of Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe’s masterpiece brings out subtext like you’ve never seen before.

Opening night of Exotic Deadly: Or the MSG Play at the @sfplayhouse.org. Wow! What a crazy, LOL-fun sho. While set in 1999, its themes are so relevant for today’s current political climate with regard to racism, fear, and identity.

Just look at these photos by Lea Suzuki and tell me you don't want to go see this play. In San Francisco Playhouse's "Exotic Deadly: Or the MSG Play,” MSG is a character, and she's a badass b. datebook.sfchronicle.com/theater/exot...
