Ride Muni to School Week is back, February 2-6, 2026! We’ll be popping up at schools across San Francisco to celebrate, talk about transit, and invite you to join our Muni-themed art contest all week long!

For over a decade, SFTR has participated in Sunday Streets, a local program that transforms miles of city streets into car-free community spaces. After recent news of funding cuts, Sunday Streets needs our support to stabilize the program.

Last Friday, we joined our partners from across the Bay Area to officially kick off the Connect Bay Area Transit campaign, the five-county regional transit funding measure. Now they need your help with signature gathering to qualify this measure for the November election!

The Connect Bay Area Transit measure will raise nearly $1 billion to support transit. This is your chance to help collect signatures to qualify this measure for the November election. This effort is kicking off with a day of action on Friday, January 23, all across the Bay Area.

Red transit-only lanes are needed to improve the travel time of the K-Ingleside and provide a layer of safety for pedestrians. The project was approved in 2024, but has been delayed due to recent pushback.
