The crazy thing to me is that Newsom could use his podcast to highlight Trump's corruption (pardons, offshore accounts, etc) and build on the goodwill from the redistricting fight. He doesn't do that. Weird!

They shouldn't give it out every year. Also, they should give it to someone whose accomplishment was 20 years in the past. You negotiate a peace treaty that's going strong after 20 years, here's your Nobel.

Republican voters do not consider healthcare a priority. Therefore, their reps are under no pressure to come up with solutions.

I would add make sure air traffic controllers get paid during a shut down. It is crazy that they are expected to show up for no pay.
