What insight! Questions I had not considered with chat gtp. How inclusive is it?
#REexchange will be catching up later this evening. Feel like a fraud if I open this now, so I will wait! Happy Friday!!!!!
#teamRE powerful knowledge when teaching Imams. Both Sunni and Shia Muslims agree on the account of the birth of Ali.
We had so many misconception to unpick that I didn't even get round to asking which outlet. He knew it was a political discussion and was said during protests. We have started looking at Jihad with Y9 only this year and I am so glad we did.
#teamRE today Year 9 looked at Jihad. One student thought the term meant 'death to white people'-he heard this on the news. After the lesson, he said he was planning to share the learning with his mum and grandma. Never underestimate the power of an RS classroom! Any classroom actually....
#teamRE comment of the day from a Year 7, "Miss, I didn't think I would enjoy RS, but it's my favourite subject - I love it. I'm showing this work to my mum" (worldviews lens). YES!!!!!
I can't wait to meet Yeat 7 too and begin looking at worldviews! Congratulations on the 25 years!!
#teamRE what teaching year are you now in and what are you most looking forward to this year?
#teamRS how do you fit in planning when term begins? I've loved planning over the summer, but I can't see how this fits in when we return.
I reckon our structure has developed over time and doesn't fit with all the questions. Minor tweak is needed.
The different views work well.
I don't think it's the actual words as sometimes the statement requires students to evaluate in that way. I reckon there is a layer needed where students make the decision about how they will frame their response. We use BUG at the minute, but I'm still feeling something is missing.
