It's why I ultimately didn't pursue theater which I majored in college, I didn't have the skin to be told no a thousand times, I wasn't THAT desperate for it. The key I think is hope in the next chance to prove yourself, and faith in what you offer. "Believe in yourself" as trite as that sounds.

I struggle with this too, even in my job where it should be easier to be dispassionate about the work. That's because it's creative work, you put a piece of yourself in it, you invested in it personally, YOU approve and love it, so when it's rejected or underperforms, it reflects onto you.

I'm visiting family who lives on a lake with a boat so I went tubing for the first time, but more importantly practiced floating, posing and playing within a wobbly spherical space (inflatable raft) 🥺
