The plot is lost. They used to rework entire characters and give them a new costume for free but the greed has fully taken over from the pre 2020 hi3 days 🗿

From not using this site for a while to yapping this long about pso2 I need to be more consistent 🗿 but this does show how much love I have for the game
You can’t easily replay or even play this game today even many of its features were taken out so I am glad I got to do it again

The true ending to this episode is some of my favorite stuff. I just love the idea of the episode can end at the moment of you becoming the universe but that’s not what you really wanted and so you call out for help

The scion classes for this episode are awesome with etoile being my favorite
Kyokyua is also a great character while being overly edgy but to a point. And lukot is my favorite she’s a c.a.s.t maid enough said

The moments before the final fight are some of my favorites as it really feels like the end of a journey is coming. It really makes the characters feel alive when some of them are talking about how they’re gonna spend tomorrow when they don’t even know if they’re gonna win or not

It balances out how in ep5 you almost were too strong so this time you’re too weak barely scathing by every interaction
So much happens in this episode but all the characters get to shine here when put under pressure. Regius ends up being my favorite

While ep5 is you being the hero of this unknown world, 6 flips the setting back in a cruel way by having shiva exist and how she constantly makes a mockery of your abilities due to how much stronger the profound darkness is
And this episode is my second favorite in the game

As it helps let you immerse yourself in the episode’s setting. My favorite fight in the episode is omega apprentice because of it the second phase fight is quite incredible
This episode is also the first introduction to the scion class hero and stratos is great having her own episode in ep5

Alis was done incredibly well even if it’s not the same alis we know
This episode is very funny at many moments with the serious stuff sprinkled in between. The ost is one of this episodes highlights with it using Pso2s own original language being omegan language. It’s honestly the coolest part

Ep5 is the unusual territory of the series with it boasting a complete old school fantasy setting
This episode is very trope heavy but that also works in its favor since that’s the idea you’re literally a in a storybook setting
Utilizing this to bring back 2 of the first PS characters was great

As for me I finally finished ep 5 and 6 of pso2 which means I finished the photoner arc and beat the game. It’s honestly quite an experience to do it the second time

i finished episode 4 of pso2!
looking back on this episode again, i think what i love about it is how much phantasy star is crammed into it. between friends turning into foes foes turning into friends and the corrupt leaders aspect
it's quite hilarious at times but also knows

Usually i tend to livetweet stuff I watch
But for malice@doll i think it's better if i only give my thoughts on it
it's unsettling, creepy with a bleak outlook on its setting and the animation helps with that but it's also hopeful at the end
I enjoyed it
