the whole way to the foot of the mountain, Lilya was wondering if she was really capable of counting 5 days. what if Vincent meant tomorrow? or worse, what if it they meant yesterday and they thought she hadn't shown up?

Lilya wrote the note in the neatest handwriting she could manage. it still looked like a bird scratches, but it was the best she could do.
