This is more than news, I think this will in time fundamentally change what we think of when we refer to a University.
The Higher Learning Commission has formally introduced a process to allow for bachelor's degrees of fewer than 120 credits, becoming the second accreditor with clear procedures in place. This is one of the bigger developments in higher ed in years.
