We've spent about 10 days at my dad's ranch. Cleaning, repairing, etc.
We roll for home very early in the morning. I'm looking forward to sleeping in my own bed (stall).
It has been very nice to spend time with family but I'm ready to be home.

It amuses me that I can lay eyes on 3 english saddles, 2 side saddles and I've yet to see a western saddle around here.
Also. Being a farm pony ain't easy. My body hurts from hard labor this week.

Not sure where my mom got this but this was a Captain's saddle. Gotta find the stirrups that go with it.

I think today was the first time I've ever driven the 4x4 3500HD diesel dually off the farm. Took it to pressure wash all the grime off.
Nothing like putting your hoof in a big ass diesel. He'll scoot and pull a house down.
I chained it to the MF tractor to tow it out the yard.

I felt so clever today. Got the tractor hooked up to the bushhog, pto attached. Made a pass around the pasture....Why is there smoke?!?
Leaves had collected inside the engine bay or a critter had nested. Cue me running back to house for a bucket of water. LOL
