I wish I could help all the people asking for help on here but I can barely look after myself, sorry. I know I'm privileged as fuck but that doesn't mean I have any money

Maybe that was the joke

To be clear- this was sibling fun, not serious, hilarious

Road to peace. Cartoon for @trouw.nl.

#peace #future #Netanyahu #Trump
Cartoon showing a large peace sign in an Escher-like setting, with multiple perspectives and stairs going off into different directions. On the different stairs and floors we see Netanyahu on a golden throne, Trump looking at plans for New Gaza (with Trump towers and a golden state of himself, Hamas and hungry children. Body bags and skulls fill the nooks and crannies between the stairs. A mother and child look at a sign that says 'Road to peace' and shows a tangle of arrow all pointing in different directions.

Those blood harmonies eh?
Neil is the boring one but nice one, Tim is the cool AF one. Woodface is the only really good Crowded House album for this reason

It’s really cruel. Homelessness is rising expediently, families can only afford to eat once a day and schools meals aren’t nutritious or edible, 120,000 households can’t afford power, parents are skipping meals and although we produce food for 40m NZers can’t afford meat, cheese and other basics.

This is apparently always the pattern with a National govt. They take power, lay off a whole bunch of people, realise that they can't enact their policies without staff, then hire contractors who cost significantly more than full time staff and need training. A strategy both cruel and unproductive

Comment: Minister Judith Collins has relaxed constraints on consultants spend, after the public sector massively over-delivered on promised spending cuts ... and the Govt work-rate slowed accordingly.
Public spend on consultants slashed – but not to those embedded deep in govt

Wait, the feel of the rows and columns and just the memory of which numeral is where.
I'm not great at it, but I can do it a bit
shambolika.bsky.social
And I can do maths in my head, better than most people seem to be able to. Sometimes I visualise the rows and columns of numbers I'm adding and carrying but it's the feel of the numbers, not the numerals
shambolika.bsky.social
Sometimes when I can't sleep I visualise 1, 2, 3, then 4 over and over, it takes a real effort to actually see them and they are fuuuucked up but I can feel what they look like easily. 3 is especially difficult to see, 4 practically jumps out at me
