Rolled credits on #Cyberpunk2077 for the second time today, 5 years after the first time. Chose a different ending. The game is in such a better state now. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and have just the finale mission for the Phantom Liberty DLC left to go.

Black Friday is upon us. The giant outlet mall down the road from my house has been open since 6AM. The police are closing streets around my neighborhood because of it. I’m staying at home.

Further gaming-on-Linux experiments today: got Cyberpunk 2077 going with AMD FSR 4 support on my 9070 XT. It runs excellently in 1440p with everything besides full-blown path-tracing enabled.
Picked up my cloud save from where I left it off on Windows 2 months ago without issue also.

It’s been about a week since I blew away my Windows 11 installation and replaced it with Fedora 43🐧. Things are going pretty well. I tried out Heroic Launcher today to get my GoG and Epic libraries going, and successfully used it to play Fallout London. Surprisingly easy.

It’s been about a week since I blew away my Windows 11 installation and replaced it with Fedora 43🐧. Things are going pretty well. I tried out Heroic Launcher today to get my GoG and Epic libraries going, and successfully used it to play Fallout London. Surprisingly easy.

I finally took the big step of nuking my Windows 11 install today, replacing it with Fedora 43. I’m going to cobble together a small Windows VM just to run Adobe Lightroom until I can get more up to speed with Darktable or something.

Today’s been an adventure of trying multiple Linux distros on my main Windows 11 gaming/photo editing PC. I think gonna wind up going with Fedora, just like on my Thinkpad though. It just feels comfy.
I put them on a separate SSD so the windows install is untouched for now.

My 128GB iPhone 13 attempted to install iOS 26.1 today and failed due to not having enough free space. It had over 20GB of free space. WTF, Apple?
The update itself showed as being 3.65GB. Once I deleted enough stuff to free up another 10GB or so it installed successfully.

The midwest riding season is swiftly coming to a close as the weather cools down, so I'm riding as much as I can while I still can. Got the ol' CB750 out for about 50 miles today, and the Tiger 1200 for a quick ride too later in the day.
The CB is more fun, the Tiger is more comfy.

After months of living with my '75 Honda CB750's front wheel squealing like a banshee when I just move it around unpowered, I finally googled how to fix it and found a youtube video that told me which nut to turn. Fixed in 30 seconds, lol.
