Found my launch day receipt for Star Wars: Rogue Squadron for N64. Bought it at a Walmart in Philadelphia for $49.96. Reminded me that not all N64 games were expensive in the US. And Walmart is much older than I thought.

Tested out this old Nintendo 64 ROM with the Analogue 3D and while it doesn’t recognize the game title, the ROM does play. Nintendo used to overcharge developers for these so they were often reused. This one has an Earthworm Jim 3D label, but Battle for Naboo is actually on the ROM.

The Switch 2 completely screwed up the HDMI CEC connection between my TV and my receiver. It worked perfectly when it was Switch 1, PS5, and Xbox Series going into my receiver. As soon as I added Switch 2 all the protocols were broken and nothing works. Now I have to set TV and receiver to factory.

Battlefield 6 feels horrible. Aiming, traversal, everything feels sluggish/janky/unresponsive. Aiming with an analog stick has some sort of crazy acceleration where if you tip it drastically to try and quickly sight up an enemy it just whips your aim completely out of the realm of reason. Yuck.

I was playing My Bloody Valentine before the GameFace stream today and someone in chat complained that the music was distorted. I can't monitor it, so I turned it down assuming the levels were too high. As it turns out, the song sounded just fine on the stream. LOL!

I haven't turned on my Switch 2 in three weeks. Is anyone else still getting use out of theirs? It's just replaced the spot in my entertainment center where my Switch OLED sat for the last two years hardly being used.

Went to a July 4 party in one of LA’s neighborhoods and was blown away by the local fireworks. They went from 7PM to 1AM NONSTOP. Quarter sticks of dynamite, commercial grade mortars. Was like a warzone. So much $$ spent. Insane!

It's pretty wild how people will spend $6 on a coffee that lasts five minutes, but don't think something that entertains them on their commute all month long is worth $5.
