I broke an egg on the counter instead of into the bowl AND snapped a wooden spoon while mixing. This batch of cookies may be more cursed than normal.

I think one of the things I tell people about being a professor (or teacher!) that makes total sense but they never thought about: proctoring tests is the absolutely most boring part of the job.
