Some of it comes down to trust in and appreciation of yourself — of course there's nothing wrong with wanting to belong but defining yourself by your standing in other groups is almost never going to end well. First and foremost satisfy yourself.
You are _you_, and I — and many of us — find that a fine thing indeed. There's nothing wrong with wanting to be a better person, but don't sell the you of today short.
So I may have just been out of the loop on this, but Nintendo released a wheelchair basketball game for Switch 2 using dual-mice controls and, I dunno, it just seems like a cool thing that more people should be aware of. www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiUj...

The trakball on the older Atari games (the one I'm most familiar with is Atari Football) is prrrretty damn huge, yeah...
Oh god it's bringing all the boys to the yard run for your lives!
Cool cool! I realized a much cleaner way of doing what I need to in OpenSCAD so I'm probably going down that path but it's always good to know about more libraries! Thank you much.
Something like that's certainly along the lines of what I'm trying to do, yes! I presume that's Python? What sort of output is available there?
I can't just uniformly shrink the figure because that won't leave it properly 'grid-aligned' on the full size grid. Instead I'm basically shaving an epsilon off of every edge of the final shape.
You might have missed the initial chunk of stream — unfortunately this doesn't work for me for subtle reasons. I could assemble purely regular hexagons like these easily enough, but that won't leave tolerance for printed polyhexes to fit together right. (cont)
Going live momentarily here!
More programming streaming tonight. It's going to be a bit of a change of pace today: I've got some shapes that need building out, so it's time to dive back into OpenSCAD for some parametric polyhedra! Tune in at 7:30 PDT at twitch.tv/shaterri to watch me try and relearn this odd little language.

I remember seeing Star Wars a half-dozen times in theaters in '77. Aiiiiii.
My Furrymuck account has a kid in high school.
No streaming for me tonight — getting a few more things set up. But I'm hoping to resume code streams next Monday!
I feel this 100%. There were nice things in the moment but I feel like I did so much less than I could/should have. You are doing good things and I wouldn't sell the value of the relaxation short.
Happy (belated, it was Saturday) International Red Panda Day! And just remember: all for wah, wah for all...
I missed the celebration but apparently yesterday was International Red Panda day!
My reward for clearing out several stands' worth of weeds was some revenge blackberries. I'll take it.
Hey personal lazyweb: does anyone have experience debugging C++ on MacOS? I've been able to build but I'm hitting an apparently well-known bug where LLDB chews up _all_ the memory as soon as you try to display variables. I presume that it's _possible_ to do C++ on Macs but I've had no luck...
Also on the non-Ghibli front, if you haven't seen _Wolf Children_ (or just about any of Hosoda's films) I can heartily recommend.
One of the few things worse than having a bad day is having a bad day when your friends are all having their own bad days. :/ May tomorrow be better for all of us.
That weariness is so very understandable. You are good people but you are still a people, and there is so much weight in the world right now. Any time you need a shoulder I am happy to provide.
