What’s crazy to me is the majority of the Republican base, who have lower incomes, supported lower taxes for years because ‘one day I’ll be rich’ have now implicitly decided instead to blow up the economy that would fuel their enriching. 🤔

I don’t laugh because so many people have these beliefs, but because so many people act contrary to to the ramifications of these beliefs.
