Octopath Traveler is such my vibe. Taking 8 vignettes and tying them into mechanically one rpg is my kind of game. The problem is how much pressure it puts on the writing. Every Vignette has to be at least interesting for that idea to stick. Not the case through the 1st set of chapters.

Turns out RE7 is a pretty good horror game! No idea why the last hour is linear combat arenas but fully understand why it kind of saved the series.

Every robot delivery machine I see rolling around my neighborhood makes me so upset. It just blocks sidewalks and beeps! Doesn’t seem effective on top of being very off putting.

Finally committing to finish RE 1 (2002) and man what a stressful video game. Absolutely loving it but I really feel like I’m about to lose so much progress every time I enter a new room. Crimson heads are such a fuck you (complimentary).

The mundane sleuthing of The Roottrees are Dead works way too well on me. In an ideal world I would spend all day researching and putting things on a big board.
