I wasn’t referring to a convo though, I was referencing a news article, which is very different. Intent is easily identified when analyzing the language used, when identifying the type of information presented, & considering the context of the article & sometimes who owns the media source.

The CBC intentionally focused on the shopper feeling “punished” and quoted how she felt like a “criminal” returning back to Canada and other such negative connotations. This article was not written to be informative or to shed the light for the misinformed as you suggest.

The problem is Trump was threatening to declare three states in a state of emergency so he could march his military in and try and push on the annex idea and the border he claims is “artificial”. It’s unfortunate because many Canadians are outraged right now at Ford for capitulating to this bully
