Before I stopped buying the MP FPS Slop, I remember the early matches of every year being wildly inconsistent as matchmaking tried to figure out what to do with you. Felt bad as someone that would only play a couple matches at a time.
Having the game be like that all the time sounds awful.

I wasn't going to buy it, but CoD moving to Open Match Making feels really desperate. More to appeal to jerk off FPS streamers than actual consumers.
Experience for regular folks is gonna be absolute dogshit, but those sweats will get their YT Shorts up faster.

I managed to slap some code together where the drone mostly does what I want it to do.
Check Ground > Till if needed > Plant Carrot > Harvest if you can... all while moving around the farm to maximize usage.
It works, but it's kind of drunk robot. Code kicks out to move to the right for some reason.

I'm not even sure what the path forward for selling future console iterations is.

8K isn't going to be mainstream enough.
Ultra high refresh isn't going to be compelling enough.
Graphics haven't improved drastically.
Ray Tracing? Maybe.
How do you sell someone a PS6.

I can't think of anything less compelling than the future of console hardware.
Diminishing returns on "power" since the move to x86_64 has been real.

In 2025, memorable is more important than great, at least for me. Played far too many “great” games over the past 5-10yrs that I remember nothing from, weeks after finishing them.
