Recruits have had criminal backgrounds or failed drug tests or were unable to meet physical or academic standards.

Some were dismissed because ICE training leaders learned that they had pending criminal charges.

What I don't understand is the sentiment that people's beliefs and prejudices are fixed attributes, rather than cultural affects, especially from the liberal side of the fence. Reform and redemption must be an feature of wokeness.
