Last week, I got a chance to attend a workshop hosted by the Oñati International Institute for the Sociology of Law, Spain.
We discussed the regression of rights and democracy, including attacks to academic freedom.

One of the greatest Latin American writers of all time has passed away. Vargas Llosa, a Peruvian native, leaves a vast amount of work, ranging between novels, plays, and essays. He won the Nobel Prize of Literature in 2010.
