Anybody else have a friend that, whenever you get together, all you do is talk about drama or other people or the news etc? Never really talk about each other? Idk how to get out of it lol. I try asking personal questions but we never seem to click on that. Mind you, it’s important stuff actually.

I can NOT stand children crying because it always sounds like a life or death emergency to me. People are unfazed and just act like it’s a normal phenomenon… It’s so uncomfortable MAKE IT STOP. I never know if they’re okay or not. And then I feel bad for everyone just looking the other way..

As someone who has never dealt w that (maybe mine is more psychological bc that’s how I was trained), that’s interesting I didn’t know that was a thing! Regardless it does seem like a fun and pleasing sensory thing. I never thought about that before. I used to love rubbing my hand on the sidewalk.

Same thing just looking at social media in general, even without a filter, a lot of these apps add a filter. Facebook stories probably Instagram too etc. It happens in music too. I’ll try singing a part and wonder why I sound so shit. It’s because what you hear in the recording ISNT REAL. It’s sick.

Maybe I just have issues but seeing people give a dog commands and then seeing them obey commands for treats and calling them good boy has just has always been so uncomfortable for me.
