🩵Play 'Oloo' by @shidonski.bsky.social at NYC Indie Dev Night at OS-NYC on 12/4!

You are a little creature, too squishy to be dangerous and too cute to be scary.
Find your way in a hostile world.

Ok, now at least if to believe to my wife, controls are much better. Not really sure why I haven’t done it this way in the first place was quite a pain to convert, but yay. Now will have to test it on a few more friends.

Did my first in person play test, with players outside of my social bubble, oh boy, time to adjust controls and rewrite few things xD

Alright finally done with the new character controller. Now I can control how sticky character is or how big it is.

Now back to mechanics and level design 🙈

Ok, feel confident enough in this approach. Now need a lot of polishing of controls, visuals plus need to return back my old mechanics.
PS: tiny guy is pretty cute, extra points

It’s actually getting somewhere, I can now make movement more platformer predictable, even if it’s controlled by physics, since there is less things to care about. But now I need to figure out how to hook the view properly again. Anyway, quite exciting.

Back to the roots. If I will manage to pool this new attempt of simulating character with the same movement feel. It would be more stable and also open up some new gameplay mechanic options.
