Is it just me, or should the chap that is currently being tried in court, if found guilty of dumping this waste, should not be fined, or imprisoned, but be given a shovel and a wheelbarrow and told to clean it up?

Yesterday's sky was most definitely a November sky. Out of interest, in the far distance you can just see the Isle of Lewis.

This is the Pigeon Tree.

About 40 years ago, a local resident decided he wanted to keep a few pigeons. (There were none here before). Nature took its course and there’s now a flock of about 50 that come to the forest every morning and sit in the same tree.

Always the same tree.

Another from yesterday morning at the beach. Bertie retrieving a Frisbee from the sea... endlessly.
November 16, 2025 at 5:43 AM

I've said it before, but I'll say it again. When the weather is really crap down south, it's invariably lovely up here. (And vice versa).
November 15, 2025 at 11:15 AM
This morning's waning crescent moon.

The River Allt an t-Srathain. Easy on the eye, but a bugger to pronounce.

The best way to get tree saplings onto the hills for planting. 10 down, about 40 to go.
